...DENSE FOG WILL IMPACTS PORTIONS OF THE COASTAL WATERS THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING... Dense fog will likely become more widespread this afternoon and evening for the coastal waters adjacent to the Central Coast to south of Point Conception. Dense fog will then likely spread into portions of the inner waters tonight, south of Point Conception. Mariners should be prepared for abrupt visibility changes down to one nautical mile or less, locally falling to near zero visibility. Reduce speeds and be on the lookout for exposed rocks and other vessels, including large ships in the shipping lanes. Use radar or GPS navigation if available, and consider remaining in harbor if such equipment is unavailable.
